*ABIGAIL*

Reborn 'Nita' by sculpting artist Romie Strydom.

Hello! I am Kim Fulenchek, owner and creator of Shea Creations. I have been reborning and sculpting realistic baby dolls
since August of 2004. All my babies come from a smoke-free clean environment and are handled with extreme care. I use only
top-quality supplies and products to create exceptional works of art and the most realistic baby dolls possible.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me.

I used many thin layers of Genesis heat set paints to acheive Abigail's beautiful life-like
complextion. I have also given her nose and cheeks slight texture for added realism. Abby's lips and tongue have been painted and given a shiny wet look.

Abigail's body is made of caucasian doe-suede fabric. It is filled with squishy silicone-like pellets and topped with FiberFil. Her head, arms, and legs are
filled with plastic and glass pellets and fiberfill. The limbs have been sealed so that the weighting will not spill out. Abby's weight feels so real and
she is such a cuddly baby to hold! You won't want to put her down.

I have secured a strong earth magnet behind Abby's mouth and on her pacifier so that she can easily take a paci without damaging the vinyl.
These magnets should not get near credit cards, cell phones, pace-makers, and other electronics. Althought I have never experienced it myself, these
strong magnets have been known to cause electronics to stop working.

For Abigail's hair, I first hand-painted very thin, wispy hair on her head, temples, and forehead. I then
micro-rooted 1-2 hairs at a time using a very small felting needle. This is true micro-rooting.
This process took several hours but the outcome is amazing! Abby's hair is made of high-quality premium mohair.

Abby's hair is sealed on the inside so it can be gently washed, combed, and styled just like a real baby. You may
gently wash and condition her hair just like a real baby. To style, I prefer to add a little gel to her hair, comb and style
as you please, then I cover her face and give her hair a little hairspray so that it stays how I want it.

I added just a little bit of shine to Abby's lower eyelids for slight wetness. I also hand-painted her eyebrows using Genesis paints and a very thin wispy brush.
I really focused on giving her the perfect coloring around the eyes. The skin on and around eyes is much thinner and tends to have more of a
purplish tone than the rest of the face, especially on newborn babies. Their little capillary veins are also often noticeable, so I gave Abby that look as well.

I painted thin off-white tips on Abby's finger & toe nails. Her nails are slightly pinker near the cuticles. I then sealed the
nails with a strong sealer for both protection and shine.
